Zion Lights, a spokeswoman for Extinction Revolt, appeared on Andrew Neil’s BBC present to defend her organisation’s actions. The local weather motion group have shut down components of central London as a part of a deliberate two-week protest. Many have criticised the demonstrations for his or her disruption and “alarmist language”.

It’s refreshing to see a BBC presenter difficult local weather claims, as a result of it doesn’t occur fairly often as of late. However Extinction Revolt’s outrageous declare that just a few ft of sea degree rise will result in billions of deaths deserves ridicule, even from individuals who assume local weather change is an issue.
